Zack Hall: A Son of Kentucky, Dedicated to Serving the 84th District

Hazard, Kentucky is home. It's where I grew up, met my wife Hannah, and where we're raising our daughter Ruby. My roots run deep in the 84th District, and the challenges and opportunities of this region are personal to me.

Public education is a field that my family is very connected to. My wife, mother, and I are all former educators, and I've seen firsthand how knowledge uplifts lives and communities. This passion led me to the nonprofit sector, where I currently work across the Appalachian Region, advocating for better access to resources and empowering communities to thrive.

Serving those in need isn't just a job; it's a calling. Witnessing the resilience and spirit of Kentuckians inspires me every day. But I also know we face tough realities – from economic struggles to healthcare disparities. That's why I'm running for the 84th District State Representative.

I'm not a career politician. I'm a neighbor, a father, and someone who understands the daily concerns of our communities. I offer a collaborative approach, believing that through open dialogue and a commitment to listening, we can find solutions that work for everyone.

My campaign isn't about making empty promises. It's about rolling up my sleeves, working across the aisle, and delivering real results. I'm dedicated to:

  • Modernizing our infrastructure: Infrastructure isn’t just roads and bridges. Infrastructure also includes investing in rural broadband, investing safe and secure water systems, attracting sustainable businesses that will bring well-paying jobs, and ensuring quality healthcare for all.

  • Building Stronger Communities: After the July 2022 floods, we have an extremely rare opportunity to rebuild our community for the future, and we have one chance to get it right. We will invest in affordable housing initiatives, create plans for disaster resilience and response, and emphasize community development and reinvestment.

  • Investing in public education: As a former educator and new dad, I know the value of a public education. This is not possible without adequate support for teachers and school systems. We must increase funding for public schools immediately, give everyone access to affordable childcare and early childhood education, and make college more affordable.

I believe in a brighter future for the 84th District, one where every family has a chance to succeed. I'm asking for your support not just as a candidate, but as a fellow Kentuckian who shares your hopes and dreams for our communities.

Together, let's build a stronger, more vibrant 84th District.

With excitement,

Zack
